"One of the reasons I love to work with alcohol inks and this process is the freedom I find when creating. There are no pressures of making mistakes or proportions wrong. Just a working relationship between me and the media, which develops into one of a kind beautiful artworks you can find yourself getting lost in.
When I talk of this relationship between me and my materials, this is because it them which dictates the final results. I prep the surface and give the inks the energy to move around, and though I may have an idea of composition and such, it is the inks and their behaviours which create the final image.
Fluid artworks are created on a range of surfaces, from ceramic tiles and canvases which also have the added addition of epoxy resin topcoats. giving each piece more depth, a gorgeous shine and added protection. other fluid artworks created on Yupo Paper and finished in a gorgeous frame."
